Who Is MC Astrokid?
Not only does Astrokid know how to party, but he was born in a party! Born and raised in Queens, New York, music and partying has always been apart of his lifestyle. Out of his many music-associated relatives, his most influential is his aunt Simone, “Monie Love”, (an Old School MC who took on the role as Queen Latifah’s protégé). At the age of 12, he began his Journey into the entertainment world and never looked back. Everything from DJ’n family events to MC’n church functions has helped him get to where he is today. Currently he MC’s for Hart-to-Hart Entertainment and has been molded by the legendary MC Mario himself into the fun, energetic, professional MC that he has become. Asstrokid’s energy level is through the roof and he’s got moves like Mick Jagger. With an old soul functioning in a young body, he has the capability to get down with the “old” and turn up with the “new”. When he’s not partying, he is in school pursuing his master’s degree in Music Production and is currently collaborating with all types of musicians to create music that’ll keep people dancing for generations to come.
I can’t express enough how much my wife and I appreciate MC Astrokid as our DJ. It was truly a night we will never forget. It was more than him playing a great playlist, it was my absolute confidence that he was keeping the wedding full of life and excitement even while I was making rounds with my wife and trying to thank everyone for attending! He actually CARED about my wedding! He interjected fun on top of amazing music and a light show that made it impossible for our guests to not dance. I can honestly say there was not a single time where the dance floor was empty.
As every bride knows, planning a wedding can be a pain in the you know what… much less a destination wedding! I was hooked up with DJ Astrokid and man did I hit the jackpot!!! DJ Astrokid most definitely made our wedding day one for the books!!! Not only did he take the time to discuss the specifics in advance, he went out of his way to make sure every detail was covered! My husband and I were pretty much winging the venue, considering that we didn’t check into our suite until the night before the wedding. The DJ contacted me the night before the wedding so he could get a better understanding of what his set up would be. I sent him photos of the suite (per his request) and let him do his magic! He brought an awesome sound system with phenomenal lighting to boot! We bounced a couple ideas off each other right before the wedding and I let him take the reins. The whole night flowed better than I could’ve imagined!
DJ Astrokid did an absolute amazing job at my wedding. We did not give him alot of suggestions when it came to what type of music to play and he did a great job on music selection. I highly recommend him for any type of occasion. Very professional. My wife and I thank him for making our Wedding awesome.
